Carbon Footprint: The eleven main professional bodies associated with construction, such as ICE, ISTructE, RIBA Contractors, all called in January 2024 for the carbon footprint of construction to be cut, as it is currently larger than the shipping and airline industries combined. The latest 2033 IPCC synergy report goes further and states that to achieve the current target of 2 degrees, carbon must be immediately extracted from the atmosphere.  Greenbeams offers construction one of the few avenues to achieve the target of a negative carbon footprint.
